ENVIRONMENT: Datto Partner Portal

Datto Partner Portal modules and features are available for all users (depending on user role and access level), including users accessing Datto Partner Portal through Unitrends. This article briefly introduces the available Datto Partner Portal modules which you access from the Status menu.

Datto BCDR

Datto BCDR, our all-in-one family of data protection appliances, is the only solution of its type designed from the ground up for the MSP. From backup to cloud recovery, our BCDR devices empower you to protect anything and restore any time. Refer to Datto BCDR and Datto Partner Portal: BCDR Status Page (Standard View) for more information.

BCDR - Networking Cloud Virtualizations

In the Datto Partner Portal, navigate to Status > BCDR Status to access the Backup Status page where you can create, access, and view networks for cloud virtualization in the Recovery Launchpad. Refer to Networking Cloud Virtualizations for more information.

BCDR - Roundtrips

In the Datto Partner Portal, navigate to Status > RoundTrip to access the RoundTrip Status page where you can verify the status of one or more RoundTrip driver orders. Refer to Checking the Status of a RoundTrip for more information.

BCDR - Unified Backup Status

In the Datto Partner Portal, navigate to Status > Unified Backup Status to access the Unified Backup Status page where you can review and track multiple Datto backups in one view and modify alert thresholds as required. Refer to Datto Partner Portal: BCDR Status Page (Standard View) and (Compressed View) for more information about the Control, Device, and Agent Information sections on this page.

Endpoint Backup Status

Datto Endpiont Backup is our fully cloud-based backup and recovery solution for Windows Servers or PCs. You can leverage its features to restore single files or the entire backup image to a new device without any extra equipment required. Designed for managed service providers (MSPs) to protect server workloads for their clients, it combines powerful DR capabilities, direct-to-cloud backup, ransomware protection and an easy-to-use unified management portal.

In the Datto Partner Portal, navigate to Status > Endpont Backup Status to access the Endpoint Backup Status page where you can manage all Endpoint Backup backups, including the following: 

  • View the Endpoint Backup Agents in an environment

  • Monitor backup status

  • Perform a restore

Endpoint Backup for PCs Status

Datto Endpoint Backup for PCs is our fully cloud-based backup and recovery solution for organizations on Windows computers. You can leverage its features to restore single files or the entire backup image to a new device without any extra equipment required.

In the Datto Partner Portal, navigate to Status > Endpoint Backup for PCs Status to access the Endpoint Backup for PCs Status page where you can manage backups and perform restores for production machines protected by the Datto Endpoint Backup for PCs agent. Other tasks that you can do from this page include the following: 

  • Create a template to generate a token for RMM use.

  • Manually start the agent registration process to pair a new agent to the Datto Endpoint Backup for PCs portal.

  • Manage email alert settings and notifications for special events.

  • Start a cloud virtualization or cloud file restore.

  • Pause backups.

  • Manage agents.

Networking Status

Datto Networking provides a cloud-managed secure access solution for dispersed networks that improves the overall safety, speed, and usability of a working from home or working on the go experience – by providing fast, simple, and secure access to business applications located in the cloud or on-site. Refer to Datto Networking for more information.

In the Datto Partner Portal, navigate to Status > Networking Status to access the Networking Status page where you can review your managed networks and their respective devices. Each device has a Device Web hyperlink to access the device in the Datto Networking Portal, its cloud management interface.

Saas Protection

Datto SaaS Protection is a data backup, recovery, and restore solution built exclusively for MSPs. Becoming familiar with Datto SaaS Protection fundamentals equips you with the knowledge needed to begin working with the product. This Online Help section introduces you to Datto SaaS Protection, its features, and the benefits it provides you and your organizations.

In the Datto Partner Portal, navigate to Status > SaaS Protection Status to access the Saas Protection Status page where you can review key information for each of your organizations as well as perform certain tasks. Refer to Exploring the SaaS Protection Overview page for more information.
