ENVIRONMENT: KaseyaOne, Kaseya University

This article explains the permissions of the Master user role within Kaseya University. Kaseya University is available to all Kaseya partners and organizations.

Master role

The Master role ensures that partners have visibility of their employees’ progress within KaseyaOne. With Master user permissions for Kaseya University, you can pull reports to see the progress your employees have made on courses in which they enrolled and check what certifications they hold. To learn more about accessing these reports in your KaseyaOne portal, refer to Cooper Intelligence Engine (learning tab).

NOTE  This access only allows Master users to review their team's activity and does not allow them to see the activity of any organizations under their company.

How to become a Master user

To be a Master user within Kaseya University, you must be a Master user within KaseyaOne. If you are not a Master user, review Manage KaseyaOne Users with your company's current Master user to update your access.

Limitations

We are always looking to improve our Master user experience within Kaseya University. Due to current limitations, Master users are not able to do the following:

  • Add Users: Since access to Kaseya University begins with having access to KaseyaOne, you cannot create users directly in Kaseya University. Once a user has been added to KaseyaOne, they can self-activate their Kaseya University user profile. For instructions, refer to Getting started with Kaseya University.

  • Enroll Users in Courses: Currently, we do not offer our Master users the ability to enroll their users in courses. All individuals must self-enroll in courses within Kaseya University. If you wish for a user to take a specific course, you can share the course URL with them and ask them to self-enroll.
